Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation invited guests for the annual celebration of Philanthropic Excellence which honors the 2011 Excellence in Philanthropy Award winners.
Each award recipient designates a nonprofit to receive a grant from the Foundation and this year's Outstanding Individual Philanthropist Chatka Ruggiero selected the Animal Care League to receive a $1000 grant.
